On February 27th 2026, eight NSCC teams from across the province will take to the ice in the 33rd playing of our Winter Classic hockey tournament for the Colin MacLean Memorial trophy. The tournament takes place at the Greenfoot Energy Centre in Bedford, NS and will provide an exciting and action filled event!

This year's field includes Kingstec, Lunenburg/COGS, Akerley, Truro, Cumberland, Pictou, Strait Area and Sydney Waterfront. An  an action filled tournament is sure to be in the cards as we look to crown this years champ. Will Pictou defend their title? Will Sydney Waterfront re-establish a budding dynasty? Is there a Cinderella team out there looking to pull an upset? Join us for the games and find out!

Again this year our amazing Radio Television Journalism students will bring the action to the fans via the live stream, and as always it's FREE for everyone to attend live at the rink for a great day of hockey! You can check out the live stream right here on game day!
